Championship OCF Datil Pepper Rub

 

  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. Kosher salt
  • 1 Tbsp. granulated garlic
  • 1 tsp. OCF Datil Pepper Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and generously massage on all sides of the meat. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hr. minimum (best overnight). Makes enough for 2 racks of ribs or a 6-10lb. bone-in pork shoulder. Slow smoke or cook your favorite way. Enjoy!
